Simon Gallup
Bassist and the longest-serving member alongside Robert Smith. Gallup's melodic, driving bass lines are a defining element of The Cure's sound — powerful on tracks like 'A Forest' and 'One Hundred Years,' and tender on 'Lovesong.' He left briefly in the early 1980s before returning for a run that has lasted to the present day.
Live archive:documented setlists place Simon Gallup inside 1,547 Cure shows from 1979-01-17 to 2026-08-30.
